ASIST Enterprise allows work orders to
be recorded for the following items:
- Citizen Calls
- Construction Projects
- Outfalls
- Reported Spills
- Septic Systems
- Stormwater Facilities
Each module of your software has a Button Bar that provides
shortcuts for adding additional information to records displayed in
the navigation tree. The buttons on the Button Bar will be inactive
until a record is selected in the navigation tree.
Work Order records can be added to your database in either
one of the ways listed below.
- Linked to an inspection or illicit discharge record
- Linked directly to a Parent record such as an Outfall or
Construction Project
Link a Work Order record to the Parent record
1. Open the desired module.
2. Select the desired record from the navigation tree by
left-clicking on it.
3. Locate and click the Add Work Order
button on the button bar
. When
the Work Order form appears fill in the desired fields.
Link a Work Order record to an existing inspection or
illicit discharge
record
1. Open the desired module.
2. Select the desired record from the navigation tree by
left-clicking on it and then clicking on the Tab labeled
Field Inspection or the
Tab labeled
Illicit Discharge.
3. Right-click on the desired record and select
View. (Note: This example is for linking a work order to an
inspection record however the same procedures can be followed to
link a work order to an illicit discharge record.)

When the inspection or illicit discharge form opens you may link a
work order
record to it by clicking on the Add Work Order button located in the Button Bar of the form.
